You started this course asking how to use Claude well. You now know how. This short lesson is a recap of what you have built, a list of resources for when you want to go deeper, and a word about what happens next — which is mostly practice.

What you have learned

Module 1 — Meet Claude

• Claude is an AI assistant built to be helpful, harmless, and honest — more than a chatbot, it is a thinking partner for complex work.
• You can access Claude through web, desktop, and mobile, and your conversations sync across devices when you are signed in.
• Effective prompts set the stage (role and context), define the task (what action), and specify rules (style, tone, and format).
• Iteration is not failure — it is the mechanism. Treat the first response as a draft and refine it with specific feedback.
• Common problems (too generic, wrong length, wrong format, confident-sounding and wrong, wrong tone) each have a named fix you can reach for.
• The four competencies — Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence — are the underlying skills that make AI collaboration work.

Module 2 — Organising your work and knowledge

• Projects are self-contained Claude workspaces with their own chat history, knowledge base, and custom instructions. Use one whenever you find yourself re-pasting context.
• Artifacts are standalone, interactive outputs — documents, code, HTML pages, SVG, Mermaid diagrams, React components — that live in a dedicated pane next to the chat so you can edit and share them in one click.
• Skills are instruction packages Claude loads dynamically. Anthropic Skills power document creation (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF). Custom Skills let you teach Claude your own repeatable workflows.
• Projects store knowledge. Skills perform tasks. The two complement each other.

Module 3 — Expanding Claude's reach

• Connectors integrate Claude with the tools you already use. They are built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — USB-C for AI — so one standard lets Claude plug into many tools.
• Enterprise Search adds an Ask {Your Org Name} project that synthesises knowledge across your organisation's connected tools, with cited answers and permissions respected.
• Research mode runs agentic, multi-source investigations in 5–45 minutes, with extended thinking automatically enabled and every claim cited back to its source.

Module 4 — Putting it all together

• Claude applies across almost every role — sales, marketing, finance, HR, legal, research — and the Anthropic Use Case Gallery has step-by-step guides for each pattern.
• Beyond claude.ai, Claude shows up in specialised surfaces: Claude Code for terminals and IDEs, Claude for Slack for team channels, Claude for Excel for spreadsheets, and Claude for Chrome for browser work.

Just one. Run it with the three-part prompt shape. Use a project if the context keeps repeating. Reach for the right surface — Chat, Cowork, Code, Slack, Excel, Chrome — based on where the work lives.

And remember the rule that anchors the whole course: Claude is designed to be a collaborator, not a replacement. The best results come when you bring your expertise, your context, and your judgement to the conversation. Claude brings intelligence, stamina, and a willingness to draft and revise.
